We hope you had a great weekend and that your kids are enjoying this Fall Break!
We have a busy few weeks ahead! Here are some important dates:
Wednesday, October 31st - Pumpkin Math
Thursday, November 1st - Demonstration Night (5:00-5:30pm)
Monday, November 5th - Neighborhood Walk
Next Wednesday (10/31) is Pumpkin Math! This will take place during your child's math block (9:15-10:45am or 1-2:30pm). We are looking for volunteers to help in the classroom, so if you would like to come in during your child's math block, please email me. We will also need several pumpkins to be donated to the 3rd grade to use that day. We will greatly appreciate it if you can donate a medium sized pumpkin to our class.
Next Thursday (11/1) is our school-wide demonstration night. Third Grade demonstrations will take place from 5-5:30pm. Come by and hear what we've been learning about in our Water Unit!
On Monday, November 5th, we'll be going on our neighborhood walk to share water conservation strategies with our community. We are looking for volunteers to chaperone. The walk will take place in the afternoon from approximately 2pm-3:15pm. Please email me or Mrs. Taylor to let us know if you can join us!
-If you have not yet sent in headphones for your student, please do so soon. We use headphones for istation assessments and Freckle education. Thank you!
