Hello families! As we move into the last few weeks of the school year please remember that there is still a lot of hard work to be done. We would appreciate if you could reinforce that hard work is the focus, even while we are going on fun adventures and celebrating!
Our class pictures will be in the morning!
Hi Parents!
Community Day is coming up quickly on Sat, April 22nd! Here is the sign-up for 3rd grade slots! Please take a look at the link and sign-up for a 30 minute time slot. For the 3rd year in a row, 3rd grade will be leading the Light It Up Blue round-up on April 28th. Plan to be at school from 12:15-12:40 next Friday to support nuerodiversity and our 3rd graders! We have started to collect things for our Math stores unit. Some things that would be great to collect at home and send to school are bottle caps, short pencils, or anything else that can be turned into a crafting project at school. Some students might want to make some projects at home- that is fine with me as long as they are using recycled materials! More information on this to come later! Lastly, our camping trip dates have been confirmed for 5.15-5.16. We will be sending home a packing list later this week and then the permission slip in a few weeks. Thanks! As always, email if you have any questions or concerns. Please use the link below to sign up to Volunteer for Community Day!!

Hi Families!
I hope everyone had a great break and welcome back to Spring in 3rd grade! We have a lot coming up! This week we have homework! A lot of students were without it today, so please be diligent this week. Then the next two weeks we will not have homework due to PARCC testing! Students can start bringing in headphones for for the PARCC testing now. So earlier rather than later is better! PARCC testing will start next week Monday. I would suggest starting to get on a good schedule of sleeping and eating a good breakfast now. I've found over the past few years that these are the biggest things to take care of during the PARCC testing to keep students happy and showing what they know! Also, camping forms went home this Monday. Please fill these out and turn them in ASAP. The top Green form is due next Wednesday, April 14th. Lastly, parent surveys went home with some students tonight. Please fill these out and turn them in as well! We love parent feedback. Thanks! Hi Families!
We had a bitter sweet send off today to our two Americorp members, Ms. Kia and Ms. Rebecca! They will definitely be missed. Thank you to all who contributed to our Pot Luck yesterday! I hope everyone enjoys there Spring Break. Relax and spend time together! Since we didn't send home any work, you can always encourage your child to use any of the following websites:
